Do you know how unconditionally the Father loves y Do you know how unconditionally the Father loves you? I had a little epiphany this morning about how the Father loves me (and you). I learned it from gazing at my sleeping daughter. How I love to look at her, be next to her, talk to her, and experience her. Even when she doesn’t know I’m focused on her, I do so anyway - because I love her so much. She’s completely unaware of how my heart swells for her and beats for her as she sleeps. 💕💕 Even when our eyes are closed to the love of the Father - when we are walking in our own dreams - that love is still there. It protects us and envelopes us. We can carry on peacefully because it will always be there. And when we finally open our eyes and see His gaze upon us, a loving smile on his face - that’s the moment our hearts truly live for as His children. And it’s the moment He waits for as well ❤️

We welcomed a new child in November - she is about We welcomed a new child in November - she is about 8 weeks old now 💕 During a 6 am nursing session, I was watching her as she fell asleep on my shoulder. I gave her a kiss, and something happened to my heart. I felt so much love for her. Now, I carried her for 10 months and have known her and loved her for the last 2 months. But something different happened today. It felt like that kind of heartache when you love something to pieces… I gave a her tight squeeze with all that love and I realized something. Yes, my motherhood is a noble vocation and mission in itself - to love these 3 children entrusted to me. And to love Joe - my family. But today I realized something new. My love can GROW. It’s not limited to those I consider my family… because where did this little newborn even come from? 2 weeks ago she was not a part of our family yet (or we can say 10 months and 2 weeks ago). Yet I can love her so deeply, so fiercely. My motherhood is not just for my own family. My love is not just for those closest to me. And there is no real limit to how many people my heart has been made for loving. I realized that there is infinite room in my heart. I realized that a total stranger could enter into this garden that is our family - and upon nurturing and caring for that person for a time - my heart is capable of, made for, and called to make room for that person. To love! It’s mind blowing to me that there seems to be no boundary of family, no exclusivity of friendship, and no limit to who and how many this heart of mine (and yours) can hold! And if this is our hearts - imagine the heart of God! Thank you to my new sweet daughter for being an instrument of Gods revelation 💕💕 AMDG
Just last night this charming guy got me so upset. Just last night this charming guy got me so upset. He took a 30 minute nap late in the day and his bedtime schedule was all messed up. I was so upset he didn’t fit with *my* schedule - I had a zoom call to attend as well! Finally, I ended up carrying him during my call. 🙄 After he finally fell asleep on my shoulder I shifted him so I could carry him to his bed. (Still annoyed, y’all!) I looked at his face and realized I had not cradled him in my arms like this in so long - like I did when he was a baby. I’m always throwing him over my shoulder because of his weight. Here I could see his face - sweet and peaceful. I took a moment to gaze at it as I did so many times when he was a baby. Some type of grace reminded me of when Mary held Jesus like this. When he was broken and his body exhausted. ”Pietà” A flood of emotion overwhelmed me! ✨How many times before this moment had Mary held her child Jesus in the same way - but while he was sleeping safe and peacefully. His breathing would have been even and deep, maybe a small smile from a dream. How her heart must have been pierced seeing her dear son now! ✨Suddenly, I was so grateful for this “cross” I had to carry that evening! So grateful because I was given just a glimpse into the sorrows and joys of the heart of mother Mary that night. 💕Thank you, Luke, for being a vessel for this moment 💕Thank you, Jesus and Mary, for choosing this moment to reveal yourself to me - through my child, through my motherhood! ✨Sibling Love. 👦🏽👧🏽💕 I’m sittin ✨Sibling Love. 👦🏽👧🏽💕 I’m sitting here watching these two play peacefully with eachother and it makes my mother’s heart so full. 🥰🥰 It also makes me wonder how full we must make the heart of our Heavenly Father’s when we love our brothers and sisters in Christ! ❣️Love all of you! So, Joe and I have decided to read the book “Men, Women, and the Mystery of Love” on our weekly date nights.  Just one week in and it's already been ✨ LIFE CHANGING. The key point we’re taking away is to grow in our “virtuous friendship”.  🌟In a (virtuous) marriage we need to work together towards our common aim (Edward Sri) 1. The union of spouses 2. The spouses serving each other and helping eachother grow in holiness 3. Procreation and education of children Wait a minute 🤔 - those were our wedding vows! We decided that everything else should be in line with or secondary to this.  That includes our personal dreams, preferences and agendas.  Each of these things can be beautiful and can even be in line with our common goal. A lot of times our personal dreams come from God - they can be a way to use the gifts He’s given us.  👉🏽 Take my dream of one day riding a Motorcycle🏍  - TOTALLY for my sanctification. Heh 😬. I guess sometimes they’re not!🤪 (but really, only God knows 😋) These kinds of dreams will come secondary to our first responsibility towards each other and towards God. We will detach from them but we won’t forget them - we’ll be always discerning in prayer about when God is calling us to these.  (Because I might have a mid-life crisis if I'm not riding a bike by the time I’m 40 😋) When we were reminded of this responsibility by reading this book - it didn’t bring any feelings of being held back, or weighed down. It brought us ✨Joy and excitement. As well a sense of deep purpose in our union. . What separates us, a married couple, from two roommates? It’s our common aim - the ✨vows we took on our wedding day as well as the special ✨Grace we were given to fulfill them through the sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Wow, that’s huge. Having something like that to tie us together for all eternity helps us to choose to love each other with intentionality and self-sacrifice even amid the daily drudgeries.  I’m currently reflecting on: ❣️Which personal dreams/agendas am I putting before my spouse and our common aim?
